8 years ago now I decided to learn the piano. Progress has been sporadic but extremely rewarding. Learning to play the piano is one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable. Learning without a teacher can be tough however. Many pieces for beginners are not musically very interesting. There are however, many shorter piano pieces suitable for beginners that are also good pieces of music, but locating these can be hard. This is a short but growing collection of pieces I found that are reasonably easy to learn but also musically interesting. When I started this collection I did so for my own use, but I also wanted to grow it into a piano book for my young daughters.
